It has been brought to my attention that I am not the only one who finds it hard to find good fantasy, paranormal, vampire, lycan clipart/art on the web.

Do vampires really exist?  Hmm.  I don’t know but I also don’t believe any one can say 100% that no, they don’t or yes, they do.  While I as many others know the notion of Dracula began with Vlad The Impaler, does it mean that vampires were just a mere idea formed from frightened minds?  The “myth” has certainly lived a long life to be such a trivial thing.

While I know there are those who are into vampirism, actually having their teeth filed into fangs, drinking blood and swearing off the sunlight, these are merely actors playing in my mind.  But real vampires, with real fangs?  I have to admit the idea is very fascinating as it must be to many for the legend to live even into today’s times.  And, is there really such a thing as immortality or was this just a mere idea formed from minds frightened of death?  I don’t believe there is such a thing.  Longevity?  Ridiculously long life span?  I think maybe those would be better terms as immortality would be living forever and doesn’t there always seem to be a way to kill? 

So if vampires do exist are they truly evil, soulless creatures of the night?  I would like to think not.  As there are good and bad people couldn’t there be good and bad vampires?  Seems to be the sway of things lately, hence Twilight.  I have to admit that the idea of a good vampire sucking on my neck is not unappealing.  Yet, I also have to admit my imagination has no bounds and sometimes travels down roads I cannot even comprehend.
